The republican shooting competition between the employees of the state bodies has started

During March 22-25, on the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, a republican shooting competition among employees of state bodies is taking place in “Aspar Arms” shooting range.

By holding this competition, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia aims to promote health and sports activities among government employees, to help them be best prepared for the defense of the homeland, to popularize the sport, as well as to develop the ability to use weapons and orient themselves quickly.

58 teams consisting of 396 employees of the RA President’s Office, RA Ministries, state bodies attached to the RA Government, RA provinsial administrations and local self-government bodies are participating in the competition. Participants will compete individually (men, women) and by teams.

The 1st-3rd place winners in the individual competition will be awarded with certificates, medals, cups, souvenirs, sportswear, and the women and men who have achieved the best results will receive the air pistol and air rifle, respectively. The team-winning men’s and women’s teams will be awarded with a cup with certificates.
